What worked for me was to change the MAC address on my router because this will "trick" your ISP that you've connected a new router, and thus renew your public IP. To fix offline mode in the Rockstar Games Launcher, you can try connecting to a VPN. I tried the solution listed here without any success: Īfter some more thinking and reading online I realized that Rockstar must have blocked my public IP for whatever reason (I just play single player, so no idea why). I also could not access in my browser, and pinging it only gave me timeouts.

I had a similar issue, where out of nowhere one day when I tried to launch RDR2 I had some connection issue preventing the Rockstar Launcher from connecting to their servers to validate the product activation for the game. It didn't help me personally but, might be worth adding! Here's one of the tips Rockstar Support gave me, if it helps you. So my best bet would be to contact them perhaps? All the things support suggested at first didn't work, but I contacted my ISP about the issue and they fixed it for me somehow, I don't remember exactly how and what they said they did, sorry. What fixed it for me personally was contacting my ISP. Just switched to using my email to respond to them later on. I managed to submit a ticket by using my phone and using data instead of wifi to get on their site through that. I also did all the things you tried such as deleting the launcher and social club folder, and it not working and just getting the error that it only launches offline mode on devices it's already been signed in on (probably says you haven't been on that device cause you deleted some stuff that would remember that was in the folders). Hi! Mainly use reddit to lurk around but I had this issue myself just the other week for a pretty long time, so I feel the pain.
